As a mark of respect and an acknowledgement of all the work carried out by him over many years, Drumchapel Law & Money Advice Centre have unveiled a commemorative bench and plaque in memory of their former convener, Mr Wallace Carpenter, who sadly passed away two years ago.

Wallace was a recipient of the Lord Provost’s Award for his time, energy and commitment freely given to the communities that he lived in and supported over his many years as a community activist and spokesperson for those who did not have a voice. He is greatly missed by all who knew him and the work he started is continuing to benefit the local communities that he served.

The bench is situated in the grounds of Dalsetter Business Centre with the kind permission of their board.
