Glasgow’s Scott Ingram Wins The Caledonian Bartenders Cup

Bartenders have a new king after a cocktail competition in Glasgow last month.
Scott Ingram, who works at the Blythswood Square Hotel won the crown in the new nationwide cocktail competition. Held at the LA Group’s bar academy, Ingram showcased exceptional skills in mixology, triumphing over 18 competitors.
Across five hours, 19 of the country’s top bartenders were tested in neat and blind taste testing and timed mixology innovation. judged on flavor, aroma, technical ability, presentation, discussion and even name by a panel of industry experts, the two concoctions had to consist of a Summer themed blend and an “International Innovation” theme utilising anCnoc whiskey in the cocktail. Ingram took home £1000 in prize money along with an engraved crystal punch bowl by way of trophy.

12.5 Cointreau,
12.5ml Grenadine,
3 drops Bitter Truth Orange Bitters,
