People are being urged to explore a website packed with information on community groups and faith organisations.
Almost 2000 organisations feature on Engage which is Glasgow Community Planning Partnership’s online resource. The database carries invaluable information on the size, scope and contribution groups make to communities across the city. It is managed by Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS) and now highlights a record number of groups including 170 faith-based organisations.
Regular training sessions are held to help people get the most out of the facility and the next round will take place in September. Full details of the training workshops are available from the Engage website at www.engageglasgow.org or by emailing engage@gcvs.org.uk
