Long Lost Friends Can you help?

I’m looking for a small miracle that a photo may exist with my grandfather in it. He was a member of the K.O.S.B 1912 in 3rd Battalion Special Reserve and when the Great War broke out he was sent to join 2nd Battalion in France four weeks after they landed. For reasons unknown he ended up back at the depot hospital, then in 1915 he joined 1st Battalion and was sent to Gallipoli, finally ending up at the Somme. He fell badly wounded on the first day of the Somme with the wounds received that day being responsible for his early death aged 43 in 1939. We, his grandchildren, never had the opportunity to meet him but I know lots of young lads then had photographs taken, proudly showing off their uniforms. His name was Robert Casey Pte 6371 K.O.S.B 1912-18. Could anyone who had relatives in the war please look at any old photos of the K.O.S.B and check any names that might be on them. Thank you.

Seeking where Agnes Fielding McBride was born in Glasgow in 1904 and her parents full names. Also seeking the grave of a Charles Boyd (service no: 2315543RAF) ex RAF Butterworth in Malaya 1947/48 who is buried in a Glasgow cemetery.

I’m also looking to track down RAF news, RAFA air mail quarterly, issues, yours fortnightly, photocopies of appeals and blank appeal forms.

I live in Canada and am 63 yrs old. I had a cousin who was born here, the same year as me. His mother (a war bride) returned to Scotland with him when he was a baby. I have never met him but was able to contact him back in the 1980’s, but the last letter I received from him was in 1989. I have exhausted every effort to contact him. I was hoping that maybe someone who knows him or knew him will contact me. His name: James Debaie, last known address: 56 Bunessan St, Craigton, Glasgow, G52. His wife’s name was Agnes and he had 2 daughters....but I can only recall the name of one (Joy). Anything you could do to help locate him or his family would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, David.
