The Plane Simple Challenge

Roll-up or should that be fold-up for the Plane Simple Challenge. Running until 31st August 2010 this competition aims to raise money for the Children 1st Charity and is aimed at people in the workplace.

The idea is that people pay a donation to take part, make a paper plane, decorate it and the person who throws theirs the furthest wins. The winning name and distance should then be sent to plane@children1st.org.uk and someone will win a flying experience with Microlight Scotland.

Laura Marks, Regional Fundraiser for CHILDREN 1ST, said: “This is a fun way for Scotland to back a vital cause and help to change the lives of Scotland’s children who need it most. The Plane Simple challenge is a great way for companies to team build, have some fun and make a difference to vulnerable children. Every penny is vital to the work that we do and by throwing a Plane Simple Challenge we can continue to change lives.”
