West Connects Health Festival

West Glasgow CHCP Health Improvement and Inequalities Team are staging a Health Festival at Scotstoun Stadium on 15th September 2010, midday to 7pm.

The event is designed to promote Health Improvement amongst individuals, families and communities and encourage them to maintain or adopt a healthy lifestyle. It will feature health information stalls, resources and workshops, professional sports teams, live entertainment, massage, relaxation tasters, art exhibitions, dance, football tournament and a lot more.

The Health Festival is part of GRANDweek - “Getting Real About Alcohol N’ Drugs”, which is designed to highlight the positive work of organisations and communities to raise awareness and increase knowledge of alcohol and drugs issues and services.
