GAME, SET AND MATCH FOR SCOTSTOUN LEISURE CENTRE

Scotstoun Leisure Centre is celebrating the latest in a line of high-profile successes after it was awarded the prestigious ‘Tennis Clubmark’ by the Lawn Tennis Association.

Mike Kolacz, Tennis Development Officer at Culture and Sport Glasgow said: “This is a great achievement. Clubmark accreditation is fantastic recognition of the work done by everyone at the Scotstoun centre, to ensure these opportunities can be enjoyed in a fun, welcoming and safe environment.”

The centre earned the status by committing to high quality coaching and playing programmes, along with policies and procedures. Scotstoun is seen as one of Scotland’s leading tennis venues and regularly hosts international events including the recent Scottish Indoor Open. It will play an integral part of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
